Welcome to My Journey

Hi there,

Welcome to the start of my journey! My name is Nelisa, and I’m finally fulfilling my lifelong dream of breaking into the film and TV industry. 

Growing up, I was always captivated by the magic of storytelling. From movies to TV shows to books, I could spend hours lost in the worlds that these stories created. I was always dreaming up my own stories and characters, imagining how they would come to life on screen.

As a wide-eyed kid, I was already dreaming big. I would often tell my mum that one day, I was going to work in TV and film. I’ve always found this world fascinating and I knew that I wanted to be a part of it.

But as I grew older, I let my fears and doubts take over. I started to think that maybe pursuing a career in such a competitive and uncertain industry was too risky. So, I took a detour and studied events management instead.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed my time in events, but it wasn’t my true passion. Deep down, I always knew I was meant to be doing something else and that little voice inside of me telling me to follow that dream never went away. 

So, I recently decided to follow my heart and pursue my dream of working in the film and TV industry. I am finally ready to take on the challenges, uncertainties, and endless possibilities that come with breaking into this industry. I’m excited to learn everything I can, from screenwriting to producing to directing and to pour my heart and soul into creating stories that will move, inspire, and entertain audiences around the world.

But I won’t pretend it’s going to be easy. The road to success in this industry is long and winding, and I’m sure I’ll face my fair share of challenges and setbacks. That’s why I’m committed to being honest and transparent with you every step of the way. I’ll share my experience, my triumphs, but also my struggles with you, because I believe that’s the only way to build a real community of like-minded people.
